Edwina
It’s been… Well let’s just say it’s been a long time since I last posted anything here on my blog. I’d love to say I can explain, but I can’t, it’s just pure laziness.
I’ve started doing a lot on my YouTube channel, none of it music at the moment, but I’m sure I’ll do some at some point, and I’m seeing that as a rebirth on the internet front. It’s all going well over there. I’ve made contact with a guy called TheTimTracker, a partner who’s been vlogging daily for about a year and a half now. He’s a great YouTuber and good to talk to.
However, my day to day life’s fairly dry. A lot of school, a lot of YouTube, the odd film, and very little else. It’d be great if I did anything… Ever… But I don’t so everything I ever write here’s going to be quite boring, or have NOTHING to do with me. A bit of a shame, but not too much of a problem for you I hope.
Now back to the title. I’ve decided to refer to anyone who follows me here or on YouTube as Edwina until anyone thinks of something better. It comes from the confusion a lot of people seem to have when they first start watching the VlogBrothers, the difference being, I’m going to be causing the confusion on purpose for anyone that hasn’t read this.
So goodbye Edwina, I hope to be seeing you again soon.

Failure
Okay, so it’s been a month since my last update. Bit of a fail, considering I said I’d do an update every week. So let’s say this, I’ll update once a month instead ;) So you get 2 video links :D
Been a very eventful month, with a fairly terrible ending. School’s going well, especially now I’ve changed Chemistry for a subject I’ve done for the past 2 years, media. History’s still coming fairly naturally, English seems tooooo easy, Drama’s got a really supportive group, that I feel confident with, and I’m 2 years ahead of my media class. So it’s all good from that standpoint. I mean, don’t get me wrong, there’s an A-bomb worth of work, but it keeps me busy, so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
I’ve got a great group of friends already, not to mention the size of the group (and the year group come to think of it.)
Okay, now onto the bad bits, first of all, one of our cats died on Monday. My parents were in town at the time getting food, so when we all got home he was lying there in the hall, not too good at all. Then, although no feelings were hurt (as far as I know/can tell), me and Chlo broke up on Wednesday, also not too good :P But still, there have been so many good things to come out of this week, it’s hard to think about the down sides. For instance, I found out Jacob’s coming to Lincoln in the half-term :D My Lincoln buddy returns!
Anyway, now onto the part I find more interesting, the guitar videos:

Second time lucky
Oh lord. This will be the second time of typing this whole blog, seeing as it doesn’t want to paste into tumblr.
I realise that I said I’d post my results, and that I’d post on here more often. I think it’s safe to say I failed on both counts.
The results however, were far from a failure. I passed every subject (admittedly, two of them were D’s, but they count as a pass in Britain nowadays.) In most subjects I did very well, with about half B’s and a couple of A’s. More than enough to get into all of the courses I wanted to.
On a different topic entirely, I’ve been talking to another of Chlo’s friends. She’s become another quick friend, and one with which it feels I’ve been talking to for years, rather than days. It’s good to know that most of her group that I’ve talked to are such lovely people.
A rather less enjoyable thing at the moment is the fact that all of my daytime MSNers are already at college or 6th form. I can’t wait till Monday, more than anything, for a bit of company. Everyone’s having a laugh though, and it’s nice knowing that 6th form’s not too much of a shock to the system.
Oh, and if I’ve made any spelling or grammatical mistakes, it’s more than likely due to this lovely new keyboard I came into possession of this morning. As nice as it is, it’s a wholly different beast from the old Goliath that I’m so used to.
Anyway, I hope that’s enough of an update into Josh land, if there’s anything else you’d like to know, don’t hesitate to ask.
p.s. My next title won’t sound like it’s about the post that came before it, I promise.

Illness
Wednesday, 25th August
This is only going to be a short post, as I'm writing it on my phone. I slept for 5 hours last night, which doesn't sound too bad considering that I was expecting my exam results, but it really wasn't a good 5 hours. And it definitely wasn't solid sleep. Fortunately, even though she was at a party celebrating, Chloe still found time to text me, which made the night a bit more bearable. And of course, Hannah (currently my only reader,) was there to entertain me into the late evening. In the end, my results didn't come today. It was always a possibility, but that doesn't make it fun. Last night the stress was making me a soppy git and a little bit irritable. However today I feel too ill to be either. I'm cold, tired, can't eat and am having a little trouble breathing normally. None of which is any fun. I rang the school to see if they could give me.my results, just to ease my mind. But the numerous times I rang there was no answer. Bummmmmmmmmmmmmm... I'll keep you up to date with anything that happens, even if it means I end up posting twice in one day. -

The First Step’s the Hardest
Okay, so here’s how it’s gonna work. I’m gonna try and upload one blog a week, with one main section, and a section from every day of the week (sort of a diary, but I’ll try and make it more about current world events than my own life, seeing as I don’t do much awesome stuff.)
This weeks main section’s gonna be me introducing myself. Seeing as this’ going to be painfully dry, I wouldn’t argue if you skipped ahead to day one.
I’d love to start with, “I’m quite a boring person really.” Just to cut down the amount I have to say, but let’s be honest, no one’s all that boring, they just can’t think of anything to say, or want to stop the torture of talking about themselves. In reality, I’m fairly interesting.
I play guitar, and love everything even slightly guitar related. In fact, my first impression of a song goes on how prominent the guitar is, as sad as that may seem. That being so, I’m primarily a classic rock fan, but I like music in most genres (apart from drum and bass, I’d rather eat lead than listen to that rubbish.)
I’m hugely into my theatre. I’m a decent enough actor for a 16 year old, but my heart truly lies with the tech involved backstage. Mainly sound, seeing as it’s the most interesting part. And probably the most rest-full, in the sense that, if you’re any good, it should be a fairly quick set up for you.
I’m starting to run out of interesting things about me now. But to be fair, those two are pretty damn interesting. If you’re as awesome as me that is……
I have a huge love for all animals (well, all Mammals,) am quite into computers (more making them do things that they normally wouldn’t than games or anything like that,) and phones. I don’t know why, but a few months ago I discovered the joy of phones. It just hit me. I don’t quite understand.
Also, the thing that I’ve saved till last (because it’s infinitely more important than anything I’ve mentioned so far,) my girlfriend. Chloe. Sadly, it’s long distance (a 3 hour drive just to see her -_-) But, that’s her only flaw. (Now, on to less soppy things and regain some testosterone.)
Tuesday, 24th August
Today was results day.
My friends all seem to have done very well, out of the 4 I know the results of so far, each of them have one or more A*’s.
At the end of exams, I moved (hence the 3 hour drive to see Chlo.)
This has resulted in a day, possibly even two days, until I get my results and my yearbook.
That sucks.
However, it is nice to know that my friend’s will be going to college!!!! YAY!
It’d just be nice to know if I need to resit maths or not. I hope I don’t. I hate maths. I hate it even more than I hate being so far from everyone I know!
I think I may even cry… (That’s a joke by the way. I can’t even remember the last time I cried… It may have been when I had food poisoning in July last year. That was a fun day of work experience.)
I can guarantee a bad grade in Product Design (I may have slightly given up a bit by the time it came to the exam,) but everything else should be fairly standard or better (let’s hope for better.) Maths is the only one that I’m not certain about. Hence the possibility of resitting this year.
p.s. I’ve just looked at the length of this on Google Docs. I think I might post it now. And another seperate one tomorrow (presuming that’s when I get my results,) and then start the weekly blog. Yeah, that sounds more sensible. -

Migration
Well, this may be my first post on Tumblr, but I do have a blog on Blogger (it was just a pain logging in, but if you really wanna see it, it’s the same user name.)
Mainly it’s just techy rubbish about Google’s world domination that I stick up, but it’s been a good long while since my last proper post, so anything could happen ;)
There will more than likely be a few guitar video’s from my youtube account being stuck up on here (I like to pretend I don’t like people hearing me play, but I’m sure you’ll realise I quite enjoy it soon enough :P)
